Job Description

Within Agilent’s CrossLab Group the Laboratory Enterprise Division is dedicated to providing Agilent’s customers with a suite of services, supplies, technologies and knowhow tailored to keep their laboratory operations efficient, cost effective and aligned with their business needs.

Some of our customer’s buying patterns are changing from a traditional capex purchase to other options such as, but not limited to, leasing and rentals. To address this need we are growing Agilent Financial Solutions (AFS) Team to bring Agilent branded payment plans to our customers.

The AFS is looking to build and increase a team of lease and financing specialists in EMEA to structure payment plans for Agilent’s customers.

Transaction size can range from $50,000 up to $10,000,000 including software and hardware.

The Lease & Financing Specialist enhances the customer experience by delivering tailored financing solutions, generating opportunities through direct customer engagement and field sales, providing training, attending trade shows, and promoting AFS through targeted marketing initiatives. The role works closely with the sales team to drive incremental business, expand adoption of AFS, and maximize commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong client relationship skills, financial product expertise, excellent execution and multitasking abilities, and experience working across multiple business segments.

Reporting to the AFS Global Program Manager, the Specialist is responsible for G ermany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, and England.

Qualifications

Must-have Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • MBA or Certified Lease & Finance Professional (preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in equipment leasing/structured finance, program development, financial services, and sales/originations.
  • Proven ability to structure lease and financing proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including IFRS and tax accounting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in financial solutions and growth strategy execution.
  • Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (required); Italian is a plus.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and presentation), and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management and ability to assess client needs.
  • Strong analytical, financial analysis, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. · Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional working skills.
  • Knowledge of the leasing market in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, and the UK is an advantage.

This job has a full-time weekly schedule. This is a remote position and can be performed from anywhere within the DACH region
