Learning & Training Partner

The Learning & Training Partner is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs that enhance employees’ skills and knowledge across Bayer. The role collaborates closely with Business Leaders, Function Heads, and other internal stakeholders to identify learning needs and deliver high-quality, impactful training solutions.

You will operate as part of the international and matrix Communication, Change and Learning team and contribute to the design and delivery of training sessions.

You will work within the “Learning as a Service” model, aligned with Bayer’s Dynamic Resource Flow. This means supporting learning and training needs for internal business divisions and GBS employees as a flexible, service-oriented learning partner. The role includes facilitation of both virtual and face‑to‑face sessions. As our business centers are located across different countries, occasional facilitation outside of Gdańsk may be required. The core training portfolio includes leadership programs, performance development sessions, INSIGHT workshops, and other capability‑building programs. Work on As-A-Service Projects (resource flow): Act as a learning consultant, leading and/or contributing to Learning and Training programs and initiatives tailored to diverse organizational needs.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Act as a learning partner to identify knowledge and skill gaps, learning requirements, and capability‑building opportunities across the organization.
  • Provide consultancy on establishing training programs and recommend adjustments when needed.
  • Operate within the “Learning as a Service” model to support Dynamic Resource Flow, serving as a learning partner to internal stakeholders and contributing to training content development and delivery.
  • Design learning programs and activities based on learner needs, stakeholder requirements, and business priorities.
  • Lead the development and delivery of engaging and effective learning experiences, including workshops, seminars, train‑the‑trainer programs, and on‑the‑job learning.
  • Develop high‑quality training materials that follow user experience and instructional design principles.
  • Provide consultancy on prioritizing learning programs according to strategic relevance.
  • Assess the effectiveness and impact of learning solutions and training methods across business units and functions.
  • Monitor, adapt, and apply industry best practices, methodologies, and innovative learning solutions to improve learning outcomes.
  • Act as a mentor to other trainers and play a supportive role within the internal Community of Trainers.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and provide guidance to mentees, serving as a role model in training facilitation.

Who you are

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in learning and development, including needs analysis, program design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience applying adult learning principles, learning experience design, and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with e‑learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate) and familiarity with LMS platforms and standards (SCORM/xAPI, basic HTML/CSS, WCAG accessibility) is desirable
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex, cross‑functional projects.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., INSIGHT, StrengthsFinder, Coach) are an advantage.
  • Strong collaboration skills with international and remote teams.
  • Openness to sharing knowledge and supporting others in upskilling.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of internal customer needs and organizational context, addressing them with solution-driven approach.
  • Promotes iteration, experimentation, and learning to support Bayer’s Long-term Outcomes, Values and Strategy.

At Bayer, we are committed to transparency, equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and objective reward practices.

The minimum gross monthly salary for this role is 12 400 PLN. The final salary will be determined based on objective factors such as professional experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility.

This position is be eligible for variable pay components, such as annual or performance-based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
