  • Salary: £24,796 – £25,185 per annum, pro rata
  • Hours: 23 hours per week over 4 days, 8.45am – 3.20pm, between Monday – Friday (working days to be confirmed)

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and who wants to play a key role in helping all pupils achieve their full potential.

About the role

As an LSA, you will:

  • work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of needs
  • provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, helping to deliver interventions and adapted learning
  • build positive relationships with pupils to develop confidence, engagement, and independence
  • support the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • contribute to assessment and progress monitoring through observations and feedback.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is proactive and takes initiative in supporting learning
  • has a strong work ethic and is committed, reliable, and willing to contribute fully to school life
  • has a positive, nurturing approach with children of all abilities and backgrounds
  • demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • is patient, flexible, and resilient, with a good sense of humour
  • is committed to inclusion and believes in every child’s potential
  • is keen to grow and develop professionally as part of a supportive team
  • has appropriate literacy and maths qualifications (or equivalent).


Experience working in schools or with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
