  • Support students experiencing academic challenges, including those without diagnosed learning differences, through individual meetings, tutoring, and targeted interventions.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops focused on metacognitive, organizational, and self-regulatory strategies.
  • Help identify students who may benefit from further evaluation and coordinate with the Director of the LSC regarding assessment resources and referrals.
  • Provide academic support across subject areas, drawing on individual areas of expertise.
  • Support groups of students during after-school study hall for up to two hours per week.

Accommodated Testing and Proctoring

  • Communicate proactively with students, teachers, and proctors about testing arrangements, accommodations, and coverage needs.
  • Coordinate accommodations for standardized testing, including PSAT, SAT, and AP exams.
  • Share responsibility for proctoring accommodated assessments, including weekend standardized testing as needed.

  • Coordinate with external providers, including tutors, tutoring organizations, and assessment professionals.
  • Organize and monitor LSC programs and resources, including peer tutoring, Historical Records Archives, and subject-specific tutoring.
  • Contribute ideas for strengthening LSC services and expanding support for the school community.
