Wage- Salary: $60k-$80K

Specific Accountabilities:

The Learning Specialist serves as the primary owner and steward of Busch's learning content, learning architecture and learning systems. This role translates L&D strategy and business needs into effective learning solutions across Busch's University, instructor-led training, learning plans, assessments, job aids, facilitator resources, videos and other learning experiences.

Working within the overall strategy and priorities established by the Director of Learning & Development, the Learning Specialist independently identifies needs, develops recommendations, establishes direction for learning-content projects, engages the appropriate partners and drives work through completion. The role requires initiative, sound judgment, strong cross-functional leadership and an ongoing focus on the accuracy, relevance, effectiveness and continuous improvement of learning at Busch's.

Learning Content Ownership & Portfolio Management

· Own and continuously improve Busch's learning-content ecosystem, including Busch's University, instructor-led learning, learning plans and guides, assessments, job aids, facilitator resources, videos and other learning tools.

· Establish and maintain a systematic approach to managing the learning-content portfolio — tracking existing resources, gaps, priorities, dependencies and review cycles — and partner with the Director of L&D to prioritize work and keep materials current and aligned with business needs.

· Proactively identify learning needs, content gaps and improvement opportunities through business partnership, learner feedback, performance trends and regular review of existing resources, and own assigned projects following Director of L&D triage and prioritization.

Learning Project Leadership & Strategy Execution

· Lead learning-content projects from identified need through implementation — defining objectives, recommending solutions, engaging subject matter experts and production partners, and maintaining momentum through completion.

· Translate L&D strategy into actionable learning plans, manage multiple concurrent priorities and timelines, and proactively escalate significant scope decisions, resource needs or priority conflicts to the Director of L&D.

Content Design, Development & Partner Direction

· Partner with subject matter experts, facilitators and operational leaders to ensure learning content and instructor-led programs are practical, current and aligned with company standards, while retaining ownership of learning design and the learner experience.

· Provide clear direction to content-production, documentation and multimedia partners — establishing audience, objectives, instructional approach, content requirements and desired outcomes — and ensure their work aligns with established learning standards and priorities.

Busch's University, Learning Technology & Systems

· Manage learning technologies and resources needed to deliver high-quality learning programs, including LMS administration, reporting structure, user support and vendor/platform partnerships.

· Review the Learning & Development Ticketing System each business day, own or coordinate requests within the role's assigned scope, maintain timely and accurate updates through resolution, and collaborate on cross-functional requests without assuming routine ownership of another role's work.

Learning Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement

· Establish and monitor learning KPIs and other measures of effectiveness; use results, learner feedback, assessment data and performance information to recommend improvements to learning programs and resources.

· Serve as a creative problem solver by researching and recommending alternative learning methods, technologies and approaches when existing solutions are not meeting the need.

Talent Development, Change Management & Cross-Functional Partnership

· Support career and leadership development by designing and evaluating learning solutions that strengthen Busch's talent pipeline, in partnership with the Director of L&D and appropriate business leaders.

· Lead the learning component of change-management efforts for new systems, tools, processes and company initiatives by identifying what associates need to know and determining how learning should support successful adoption.

· Partner with the Learning Coordinator and onboarding team on learning systems, materials, assessments and program effectiveness while maintaining clear separation between learning-content ownership and routine training operations.

General Accountabilities:

· Demonstrate behaviors that will win guests for life.

· Demonstrate personal accountability for meeting expectations, goals, and quality of work.

· Communicate clearly and in a timely manner and use constructive feedback to make improvements.

· Work together as one team by recognizing accomplishments, demonstrating respect and appreciation, and actively helping others.

· Demonstrate operational integrity by anticipating challenges, taking preventive action, and adapting to change to strengthen operations and improve the guest experience.

· Consistently follow Busch's policies and procedures.

· Share our passion for our products by being familiar with our products and services and actively seeking and sharing that information.

The 5 Rules:

· Do Your Job – Take ownership of your responsibilities and deliver on what is expected.

· Be Kind – Treat others with respect, courtesy, and consideration in every interaction.

· No Surprises – Communicate proactively so issues and changes are never a surprise to those who need to know.

· No Drama – Resolve conflict directly and professionally, and keep negativity out of the workplace.

· Protect the Brand – Represent Busch's, its people, and its reputation well in everything you do.

Education, Experience and Skills:

· Associate's degree preferred; bachelor's degree highly desired in instructional design, education, human resources, business, organizational development or a related field.

· Minimum of two years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, learning-management systems, eLearning development, training- content development or related work preferred.

· Demonstrated initiative and ownership — including the ability to identify needs, develop recommendations and advance projects without continual direction — balanced with sound judgment about which decisions require Director-level input, resources or approval.

· Strong learning-design and content-development skills, including the ability to determine learning objectives, audience needs, instructional approach and appropriate delivery methods.

· Strong project leadership, organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, partners, milestones and deadlines simultaneously.

· Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Strong written, verbal, listening and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate expectations and recommendations clearly and concisely.

· Ability to influence and provide direction across functions — engaging subject matter experts, holding partners accountable for deliverables, and providing functional leadership, coaching and feedback to content-development partners and, as assigned, team members responsible for learning content.

· Proficient computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn, administer and effectively use learning technologies, content-development tools, Microsoft Office and proprietary applications.

· Ability to evaluate the accuracy, quality, effectiveness and continued relevance of learning content rather than simply maintaining existing materials.
