The Learning Specialist collaborates with project teams and stakeholders to design and enhance learner-centered, multi-modal training solutions that build capability, improve performance, and ensure regulatory compliance, driving quality, efficiency, and ultimately delighting our customers through improved service and outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with project teams and business leaders to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning products and services to maximize knowledge retention and support business outcomes and industry regulatory compliance.
  • Conducts learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps, performance challenges, and capability requirements; translates findings into targeted learning solutions.
  • Provides expertise by applying instructional design theories, practices and methods to analyze learning needs and match content to the audience. Ensures content matches established objectives and reshapes content for changing needs.
  • Creates high-quality learning materials, including presentations, training programs, eLearning modules, simulations, microlearning components, job aids, and other blended-learning assets.
  • Supports small-scale learning projects that mature key learning programmatic capabilities and refine internal processes for the department.
  • Performs special projects, assignments, and administrative tasks per business needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Edu cation and Exp eri ence

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Scribe, Flipping Book and/or Articulate with Mighty plug in experience preferred
  • Experience in visual design software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and storyboarding are a plus

Knowl edg e, Skills, and Ab iliti es

  • Strong working knowledge of project management standards and practices
  • Strong consultancy skills, proactive nature
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning concepts and instructional design methodology
  • Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual training delivery platforms, and various learning design and development software
  • Effective ability to query, compile, enter, track and maintain data and records management systems
  • Fundamental ability to translate issues into actionable business solutions
  • Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills to deliver high quality work within project timelines
  • Effective ability to deliver learning products, services, and solutions in a collaborative and cross functional global environment, with an understanding of the learner perspective
  • Effective oral presentation and written communication skills
  • Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities
  • Independently uses e-learning and video software to create self-paced and blended learning content.
