Internal Job Title: Learning & Performance Specialist

Location: League City, Texas (Marina Plaza) I Onsite

Status: Full-Time, Salaried

Reports to: Director, Human Resources

Turn complex ideas into engaging learning experiences that help employees grow and perform at their best. As a Learning & Performance Specialist, you’ll partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and HR teams to design practical, accessible learning solutions—from interactive courses and performance tools to targeted development programs. This Texas-based role is ideal for an adaptable instructional designer who enjoys managing projects from intake through launch and continuously improving the learner experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a varied portfolio of learning projects, balancing priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
  • Consult with leaders and subject matter experts to identify performance needs and recommend effective learning solutions
  • Transform existing content, including presentations, into engaging instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning experiences
  • Create and maintain course materials, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, communications, and process documentation
  • Coordinate and support professional development, and leadership programs, including executive-level sessions
  • Support learning platforms and digital tools, including LMS administration, troubleshooting, reporting, and process improvements
  • Use learner feedback, metrics, and industry trends to improve content, adoption, and program effectiveness

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Two + years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, training coordination, or a related talent function
  • Proficiency with learning technologies and content-development tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn Learning, or LMS
  • Experience applying adult learning principles to develop engaging, practical learning solutions
  • Hands-on experience creating eLearning, course materials, job aids, storyboards, scripts, knowledge checks, or facilitator resources
  • Strong communication, consulting, project management, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and translate complex information into clear, learner-friendly content

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Dayforce Learning or Workday Learning
  • DDI Certified Facilitator credential, or willingness to complete facilitator training
  • Experience supporting leadership development or executive audiences
