The Learning Experience Designer supports AusIMM’s online courses program to deliver superior professional development
opportunities for industry professionals.

About the Role

Our Learning Experience Designer is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of AusIMM’s curriculum of online courses through the design of appropriate learning content and digital production.

Key accountabilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Build and deploy online learning courses and activities using the Learning Management
    System and associated digital tools
  • Manage learning design projects by Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and
    other stakeholders to design, build and deploy online learning course and resources
  • Work with the online courses team and other stakeholders to complete course refresh
    work
  • Work to standardise shared resources across courses, including templates landing
    pages and accessibility standards
  • Support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Explore and enhance the way the online courses team utilise the LMS and online tools
  • Conduct regular analysis of feedback received and produce reports with key insights

About You

You are personable, a collaborator, and a strong contributor, adding value to every conversation and getting real results.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating a Learning Management System, including building online courses
  • Demonstrated experience in digital development or graphic design of learning activity
    production
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technologies and a variety of online tools/software
  • High level of communication skills both written and verbal with sound ability to
    build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience managing competing priorities to meet agreed deadlines whilst solving problems
    in an innovative and creative manner, with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced level Microsoft skills
  • Familiarity with webinar/meeting hosting platforms such as Teams and Zoom

Desirable

  • Relevant qualification/s or certifications in Education, project management and digital development are desirable.
  • Experience in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Experience using video management platforms (Vimeo Enterprise)
