Lead Learning Systems & Compliance – Drive Data, Governance & Impact

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Learning & Development Systems and Reporting Lead to drive the governance, performance and optimisation of learning systems, data integrity and compliance training across the organisation.

This role is accountable for learning system ownership, compliance assurance, reporting accuracy and audit readiness. You will play a key role in ensuring learning systems and data meet regulatory obligations, while supporting workforce capability, risk mitigation and long-term organisational efficiency.

Key accountabilities of the role:

  • Own and govern the Learning Management System, including configuration, optimisation, vendor management and system performance
  • Lead compliance training governance, ensuring mandatory and audit-critical learning is accurately tracked and managed
  • Ensure learning data integrity, integration and reporting accuracy across LMS and connected systems
  • Deliver clear, executive-ready reporting and insights (including Power BI) to support compliance and decision-making
  • Maintain and improve the organisation-wide Training Needs Analysis, using data and stakeholder input to identify capability gaps and inform learning priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement of learning systems and processes, including future LMS implementation

About You

You are a highly analytical and systems-focused L&D professional with strong governance, compliance and reporting expertise. You thrive in complex environments and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing risk, data integrity and system performance.

You’re confident using data and stakeholder insight to identify capability gaps and shape learning priorities at an organisational level.

You will bring:

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems - Litmos is essential!
  • Experience supporting LMS optimisation, uplift or implementation projects
  • Strong Excel capability (data validation, reconciliation and reporting)
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Understanding of compliance, audit and regulatory learning environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capability
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Experience identifying training needs or capability gaps using data and stakeholder input

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
