Job Description

Our People and Culture team is on a mission to find a proactive and engaging Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop and deliver learning solutions that support our business strategy, strengthen our people capability, and bring our Sound Mind, Sound Body ethos to life across ASICS Oceania.

So, what goes into making that happen?

  • Design, develop and facilitate engaging learning content, programs and materials aligned to strategic objectives
  • Develop and deliver training programs using a range of methods including classroom, e-learning, virtual instructor-led and self-paced learning
  • Apply adult-learning principles, instructional design methodologies and evaluation practices to create practical, effective learning experiences
  • Manage learning platforms and tools, including LinkedIn Learning, SuccessFactors LMS, user administration and learning campaigns that drive engagement
  • Coordinate learning and development activities in partnership with internal teams, external providers, RTOs and other stakeholders
  • Support the design and coordination of leadership programs, including Next Level Leaders and Emerging Leaders initiatives
  • Develop learning pathways and curriculums for key roles and top talent, supporting succession planning and internal capability growth
  • Partner with the retail training team to design, deliver and maintain programs that support our retail objectives and team development
  • Maintain and continuously improve ASICS induction programs to ensure new team members are set up for success
  • Report, analyse and evaluate training effectiveness, including learning outcomes, completion rates and program impact
  • Champion People and Culture communication, engagement, Sound Mind Sound Body and CSR initiatives across the business

Qualifications

That’s enough about us! Here’s what we hope to see from you:

  • Strong experience in a learning and development role designing, developing and delivering learning programs
  • Experience using adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and training evaluation practices
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage audiences and make learning practical
  • Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with internal teams, people managers and external providers
  • Energetic, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Hands-on, self-motivated and well organised, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver quality outcomes
  • A continuous improvement mindset and genuine drive to improve yourself, our systems and the learning experience for our people
  • A tertiary qualification in instructional design, education, human resources, psychology or a related field is desirable, along with alignment to our Sound Mind, Sound Body ethos and values of Respect, Courtesy, Persistence, Teamwork, Preparation and Learning from Failure.
