Position Summary

The Learning & Development Senior Operations and Insights Consultant serves as the team’s subject matter expert for learning technologies, analytics and operational insights. The role manages learning platforms, reporting, measurement, vendor operations, and investment tracking, while transforming data into actionable insights that support learning effectiveness, operational excellence, and informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer learning technologies, including the LMS, ensuring accurate course administration, enrollments, assignments, completions, and reporting.
  • Curate learning content and pathways, identify content gaps and recommend learning resources aligned to enterprise capability needs.
  • Maintain data quality and resolve routine system, access, and reporting issues.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and analytics that generate actionable insights into participation, utilization, effectiveness, investments, and business outcomes.
  • Analyze learning, operational and feedback data to identify trends and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Partner with program leaders to define success measures, evaluation strategics, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage learning vendor administration, including contracts, licenses, invoices, renewals, and learning investments.
  • Monitor vendor performance and reconcile data across learning systems, financial records, and program information to ensure accurate reporting and informed decision making.
  • Document processes, data definitions, reporting methods, and system procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve learning operations.
  • Partner with the Coordinator to ensure that program activity is accurately reflected in systems and reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 plus years of related experience OR
  • HS/GED and 7 plus years related work experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, HR, Learning, Information Systems or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in learning operations, learning technologies, analytics, reporting, business operations or a related analytical role.
  • Experience administering an LMS, developing dashboards and supporting vendor administration or investment reporting preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data modeling, cleansing, pivot tables, and analysis of large data sets.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple systems to support strategic decision making.
  • Experience administering learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), and reporting on learning effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
