The Learning & Talent Development Operations & Systems Specialist reports directly to the Senior Director, Learning & Talent Development, Systems & Technology. Working closely with Talent Management, Learning, HRIS, and HR partners, this role supports the execution and continuous improvement of enterprise Talent Management and Learning processes across Compass Group USA.


This role is responsible for operational coordination, systems support, testing, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder support related to performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, and learning system operations. The specialist partners across HR, Learning, IT, and external vendors to support scalable, reliable, and user-centered talent and learning processes and platforms.


Responsibilities:

Talent Management & Learning System Process Operations
• Coordinate and support execution of enterprise Talent Management processes including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and development planning cycles
• Serve as an operational contact for stakeholders regarding process execution, timelines, and issue resolution
• Support high-volume operational periods (such as the Year End Process and Essential Training Season) with accuracy and responsiveness

Systems Support & Testing
• Support configuration and maintenance of Talent Management and Learning system functionality
• Execute testing for system upgrades/releases, integrations, and process enhancements
• Troubleshoot system issues, end user inquiries, and data discrepancies
• Track incidents and service requests through enterprise support processes

Reporting & Documentation
• Generate and validate standard and ad hoc reports related to Talent Management and Learning operations
• Maintain process documentation, governance materials, and quick reference guides
• Collect and compile HR metrics and operational data from systems including SuccessFactors, Totara, and Visier

Continuous Improvement
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system functionality, and enhance stakeholder experience
• Support Talent & Learning Development initiatives aligned to enterprise priorities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience supporting Talent Management operations, Learning systems, HR systems, or similar enterprise business processes
• Experience supporting or administering enterprise systems such as SuccessFactors (PeopleHub), Totara, or similar platforms preferred
• Experience with system testing, defect tracking, and operational support
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), BMC Helix, or similar operational support tools preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
