Basic Function:

The Learning & Development Executive is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training initiatives that enhance employee skills, performance, and engagement. Requires strong learning culture, supporting business goals, and ensuring continuous development of employees across all levels.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads and performance evaluations.
  • Design and deliver training programs (onboarding, technical skills, soft skills, leadership development).
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Ensure all new hires undergo structured induction and onboarding programs.
  • Create and maintain annual training calendars aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve employee performance and engagement.
  • Introduce innovative learning methods such as digital learning, microlearning, and blended learning solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of training programs with company standards and brand values.
  • Monitor and update departmental trainings regularly to stay relevant and impactful.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Track training KPIs such as participation, completion rates, and ROI.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in learning initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes by identifying skill gaps.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives through learning interventions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
  • Support employee career development plans and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Organize workshops, leadership sessions, and team-building activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of training programs, attendance, and certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements (statutory, safety, compliance programs).
  • Manage training logistics including scheduling, materials, venues, and coordination.
  • Maintain and update training databases and proficiency in LMS.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on team development and coaching.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Psychology, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training role.
  • Hospitality industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Familiarity with LMS (Learning Management Systems) is an advantage.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging learning content.
