Primary Purpose of Position:
To provide high-quality coordination and administrative support for Learning & Development activities across Australia and New Zealand. The role is responsible for managing the Learning. AP inbox, coordinating the ANZ Events Calendar, maintaining learning resources and systems, preparing reports, and providing responsive support to employees, leaders and the Learning & Development team.
Key Accountabilities:
• Manage the Learning. AP inbox, acting as the first point of contact for learning enquiries and providing timely, accurate and professional support to employees, leaders and HR across Australia and New Zealand. Escalate enquiries where appropriate.
• Maintain the Learning & Development SharePoint site, ensuring learning resources, communications and the annual calendar remain accurate, current and easily accessible.
• Manage the ANZ Events Calendar, coordinating learning events and knowledge-sharing sessions, including scheduling, communications and administrative support where required.
• Coordinate online knowledge-sharing sessions (such as Lunch & Learns), including scheduling sessions, liaising with presenters, preparing communications and managing registrations where required.
• Generate, analyse and distribute regular and ad hoc learning reports to support compliance, participation, business planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and monitor budgets for Learning & Development activities.
• Administer corporate membership accounts, including annual renewals, reconciliations and stakeholder communication with Engineering New Zealand and Engineers Australia.
• Support onboarding by providing new employees with information about Learning & Development services, resources and available learning opportunities.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the Learning & Development team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete all work in alignment with Stantec’s Core Values and in accordance with Quality, Safety & Environment Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required.
Skills & Specifications:
• Qualifications & Experience
o Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (desirable).
o Three or more years' experience in a Learning & Development, Human Resources or similar administrative environment.
o Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative and coordination support.
• Skills
o Strong customer service focus with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
o Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel and Teams.
o Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.
o Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and provide support.
o Adaptable and responsive, with the ability to reprioritise work to meet changing business needs.
o Ability to work effectively across different time zones while maintaining a responsive and professional service.
