Job Description

Downer's Transport & Infrastructure AU business is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots, maintain more than 36,000 km of road, and are involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout Australia.

Some key responsibilities of Learning Coordinator role include:

  • Providing accurate and timely reporting

  • Researching training options and providers

  • Encouraging and sourcing cost-effective training solutions

  • Identifying training needs and scheduling sessions

  • Recording evidence-based outcomes in the learning management system

  • Ensuring new employees are assigned the correct training

  • Building effective relationships that encourage proactive communication and collaboration

  • Raising purchase orders and receipting invoices

This role can be based in our Adelaide or Brisbane offices.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks

  • Sound administration skills and high attention to detail

  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal, with sound ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

  • Demonstrated experience and accuracy in a high-volume data / administration environment

  • Demonstrated experience with databases / LMS

  • Previous experience in a training industry and / or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly regarded but not essential
