Why This Role Matters

The Learning Content Developer creates engaging, accurate, and accessible eLearning courses, training materials, LMS content, and videos for users of the Hansen CIS utility billing platform. This role gathers information from subject matter experts and project stakeholders, translates complex technical and business concepts into learner-focused content, and supports learning program deployment through LMS administration, course packaging, user group management, and learner support. The role helps drive system adoption by creating polished training resources for customer, sales, and internal audiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop eLearning courses and other training content for users of the Hansen CIS utility billing platform.
  • Gather source information, course requirements, and supporting materials from subject matter experts, project stakeholders, and other contributors.
  • Work with the team to assess training needs, define learning requirements, and script course content that supports practical system adoption.
  • Create and build training deliverables, including videos, interactive course content, and SCORM packages.
  • Administer LMS content and learning programs by managing courses, curricula, user groups, enrollments, and related course setup.
  • Troubleshoot learner tickets and support a smooth learner experience within the LMS.
  • Author system messages and learner-facing correspondence that uphold branding, tone, and company standards.
  • Design and produce videos for sales, training, and internal purposes to support understanding and adoption at different stages of the customer and employee journey.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of technical information and break it down into clear, understandable learning content.
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity while maintaining a structured approach.
  • Passion for learning and teaching, with the creativity to make complex topics approachable and engaging.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency, and learner experience.
  • Proactive, self-directed approach with the willingness to ask questions, find answers, and follow work through to completion

You’re someone who may have:

  • Experience with the Articulate 360 Suite, including Storyline, Rise, or similar eLearning authoring tools.
  • Experience with Camtasia or other video production software.
  • Experience creating SCORM packages and deploying learning content through an LMS.
  • Experience designing training for technical, customer-facing, sales, or internal enablement audiences.
