Must be a US Citizen

Join Oracle Health Consulting as a Learning Consultant and support a large electronic health record (EHR) modernization initiative for Federal customers.

In this role, you will help design, deliver, and improve learning programs that prepare end users and project teams to adopt Oracle Health solutions. A key part of the position is supporting train-the-trainer programs that equip designated customer trainers to confidently deliver consistent, effective end-user training. You will work alongside learning leaders, subject-matter experts, customer trainers, and project partners to understand learning needs, deliver engaging training, gather feedback, and keep training materials current.

This is a hands-on training role for someone with experience delivering EHR or healthcare technology training, applying adult-learning principles, and working comfortably in fast-paced customer environments. This position requires flexibility to travel up to 100% based on customer and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery and Train-the-Trainer Support

  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training for a variety of learner groups and experience levels.
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer programs that prepare designated customer trainers to deliver approved Oracle Health training content.
  • Guide customer trainers through practice delivery, course logistics, learner-engagement techniques, and the use of standard training materials.
  • Observe trainer practice sessions and provide clear, constructive feedback to strengthen facilitation skills and readiness.
  • Support trainer readiness through refresher sessions, learning resources, and updates when workflows or training content change.
  • Deliver EHR training in support of deployments, go-lives, ongoing adoption, and other customer initiatives.
  • Help develop and update facilitator guides, presentations, job aids, quick reference guides, and learner activities.
  • Adapt delivery style and examples to meet learner needs while staying aligned with approved workflows and training standards.
  • Provide day-to-day support to learners and customer trainers during training and go-live activities.

Learner Support and Continuous Improvement

  • Gather learner and trainer feedback and identify common questions, knowledge gaps, and opportunities to improve the learning experience.
  • Support observations and performance assessments and provide practical feedback to help learners and trainers improve.
  • Escalate training risks, content issues, or readiness concerns to the appropriate learning lead or project partner.
  • Assist with updates to training content based on workflow changes, learner feedback, and project direction.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities across the learning team and customer training community.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with subject-matter experts, project teams, customer trainers, and customer stakeholders to validate training content and support learner readiness.
  • Participate in working sessions and meetings to understand changes to workflows, systems, and project priorities.
  • Communicate training status, learner feedback, trainer-readiness updates, and open questions to learning leads and project partners.
  • Build positive working relationships with customers, SMEs, trainers, and cross-functional team members.

Data and Reporting Support

  • Track training attendance, completion, learner feedback, trainer readiness, and other defined learning metrics.
  • Assist with preparing training reports and summaries for project and learning leadership.
  • Use feedback and data to suggest practical improvements to training content, facilitator support, and delivery approaches.

Change and Adoption Support

  • Help reinforce learning and adoption activities that support changes to Oracle Health workflows and technology.
  • Support end users and customer trainers as they build confidence with new processes and systems.
  • Follow established learning, change-management, and customer-engagement practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience delivering training, supporting learning programs, or facilitating end-user education in a healthcare, technology, or consulting environment.
  • Experience delivering or supporting train-the-trainer programs, including preparing facilitators to deliver consistent, engaging end-user training.
  • Experience with EHR, EMR, clinical systems, healthcare workflows, or enterprise technology is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate engaging instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
  • Familiarity with adult-learning principles and basic instructional-design practices.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with subject-matter experts, project teams, customer trainers, and customer stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% based on business and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Health, Cerner, Epic, or another major EHR platform.
  • Experience coaching trainers or peers on facilitation skills, learner engagement, and effective use of training materials.
  • Experience supporting EHR implementations, go-lives, workflow changes, or end-user adoption.
  • Experience creating or updating facilitator guides, job aids, quick reference guides, presentations, or other learning materials.
