Job Description

Help Build the Future of Leadership. Literally.

Most learning roles improve programmes.

This one reinvents how leadership capability is built across an entire enterprise.

We're looking for a hands-on Learning Architect who can redesign leadership development from the ground up—moving beyond attendance registers, generic workshops, and nice-to-have training.

You'll help shape how leadership is built, applied, measured, and scaled across a major financial services organisation.

If words like architecture, impact, behavioural science, learning journeys, ROI, human-centred design, scalability, and transformation
excite you keep reading.

Why This Role is Different

This isn't traditional L&D.

This isn't advisory-only.

And this definitely isn't about tweaking old content.

This is a high-impact build role for someone who wants to create something meaningful that lasts.

By the end of this assignment, your work will influence how leadership capability is built and measured well into the future.

What You'll Be Building

1) Enterprise Leadership Development Architecture

Design scalable leadership capability solutions across leadership layers:

  • Frontline Leaders
  • Middle Management
  • Senior Leaders
  • Executive Leadership

You'll create enterprise-level frameworks that connect learning directly to business outcomes.

2) Flagship Leadership Journeys

Architect three enterprise flagship leadership programmes
that are:

Capability-led

Application-driven

Measurement-by-design

Delivery-ready

Scalable across the business

3) Learning That Actually Gets Used

Design end-to-end learning journeys that blend:

  • Formal learning
  • Digital learning
  • Blended learning
  • Social learning
  • Augmented learning
  • Experience-based development
  • Cross-functional exposure
  • In-role application
  • Stretch assignments
  • Practical business challenges

4) Measurement That Matters

Embed impact into design from day one.

You'll create enterprise measurement frameworks that track:

  • Learning transfer
  • Behavioural application
  • Business value
  • Leadership readiness
  • Succession impact
  • ROE / ROI
  • Capability uplift
  • Performance outcomes

What You'll Do

You'll operate across strategy, architecture, design, and execution:

  • Translate leadership strategy into delivery-ready learning solutions
  • Build enterprise leadership development pathways by leadership level
  • Design practical programme blueprints, facilitator guides, templates, and learning assets
  • Create application-driven assessment and evidence frameworks
  • Lead large-scale learning architecture initiatives end-to-end
  • Shape UI/UX and learner experience across digital learning platforms
  • Embed behavioural science, adult learning, and instructional design best practices
  • Partner with business leaders, SMEs, HR, Learning CoEs, and analytics teams
  • Build scalable systems, not one-off interventions
  • Drive continuous improvement, governance, and quality assurance
  • Manage vendors and learning partners
  • Turn learning into measurable commercial value

We'd Love to Meet You If You

You thrive in complexity.

Big enterprise problems don't scare you—they energise you.

You challenge traditional learning.

You've probably asked:
Why are we still measuring attendance instead of application?

You think like an architect.

You design ecosystems, not isolated programmes.

You build with purpose.

You care about implementation—not PowerPoint concepts.

You're commercially sharp.

You understand that learning must drive business performance.

Must-Have Experience

  • 10–15+ years in learning, leadership development, talent, or enterprise capability design
  • Proven experience designing enterprise learning architectures or leadership frameworks
  • Strong expertise in blended, digital, augmented, and human-centred learning design
  • Deep instructional design capability
  • Experience creating end-to-end learning journeys
  • Advanced leadership development experience (senior and executive level)
  • Strong learning measurement capability beyond L1/L2
  • Experience building delivery-ready assets, not just strategic recommendations
  • Ability to connect behavioural change to measurable business impact
  • Experience in complex, large-scale, regulated environments
  • Financial services experience highly preferred

Bonus Points If You Have Experience In

  • Learning technologies & learning platforms
  • SaaS learning solutions
  • UI/UX design in learning experiences
  • Behavioural science / psychology
  • Agile & DevOps environments
  • SAP / ERP data insights
  • Learning analytics & reporting
  • AI or machine learning in learning ecosystems
  • Vendor & solution partner management

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Learning, Education, Organisational Development, Human Capital, Instructional Design, Digital Learning, or related disciplines
  • Advanced certifications in learning design, behavioural science, UX, leadership development, or digital learning are advantageous

If you're ready to build something bigger than a programme

Come architect the future of leadership.
