The Learning Architect is responsible for designing, evolving, and stewarding Tricon’s Learning Architecture and scaled learning experiences across the organization. This role operates as a strategic advisor within O&TD, leading structured intake, diagnosing business needs, shaping scalable capability solutions, and ensuring learning initiatives align to organizational priorities and operating realities. They are accountable for the structured diagnostic and solutioning process, ensuring learning initiatives are strategically defined, appropriately scoped, and effectively executed to ensure engagement and impact.
While possessing strong instructional design expertise, the primary focus of this role is architecture strategy, consultative partnership, and system-level integration. The Learning Architect ensures Tricon Academy solutions are fit-for-purpose, culturally aligned, and forward-looking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Learning Architecture Strategy & System Design
Design and evolve org-wide learning architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy, organizational maturity, and O&TD priorities.
Proactively identify capability gaps, risks, and dependencies across the learning ecosystem.
Contribute to standards, governance, and decision criteria for evaluating and prioritizing learning initiatives.
Translate emerging business needs into structured capability roadmaps.
Continuously refine architecture based on feedback, adoption patterns, and organizational shifts.
Strategic Intake & Consultive Partnership
Lead structured intake conversations to diagnose root business needs before solution development.
Partner with business leaders, HR, and service line stakeholders to clarify intent, define success criteria, and align on outcomes.
Determine and recommend appropriate solutions, including learning design, curation, external resources, process adjustments, or alternative interventions when aligned with organizational goals.
Align internally with O&TD leadership prior to finalizing and socializing recommendations.
Operate with diplomacy and sound judgment when advising stakeholders on solution direction.
Instructional Design & Learning Solutions
Apply advanced instructional design expertise when building or overseeing high-impact learning solutions. (e.g., eLearning, ILT, vILT, micro-learning, blended, etc.)
Ensure all deliverables reflect audience-appropriate simplicity, clarity, and alignment to organizational culture.
Oversee or contribute to the design, development, and refinement of scalable learning programs as needed.
Evaluate whether solutions should be built internally, curated, or sourced externally.
Demonstrates fluency in modern instructional design tools and technologies (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Canva) and applies them as needed to deliver or oversee high-impact solutions.
Architecture Governance & Alignment
Establish structured checkpoints and alignment milestones for major initiatives.
Leverage analytics and stakeholder feedback to evaluate effectiveness and inform architectural adjustments.
Reduce rework and inefficiencies through disciplined discovery and alignment processes.
Coordinates end-to-end learning program execution, including vendor management, communications, and stakeholder engagement for successful adoption.
Measures learning impact using analytics, KPIs, and learner feedback to assess effectiveness, ROI, and guide continuous improvement.

10+ years of progressive experience in learning strategy, instructional design, and/or enterprise capability development.

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
$112,560.00 - $187,600.00
