You’ll partner with leaders and teams across the organisation to understand their needs and develop the right leadership, coaching and mentoring solutions to support our people and business priorities.

This is a strategic L&OD role where you will work closely with the business to shape our approach to leadership development, while managing the Leadership Development Specialist and L&OD Coordinator, leading our coaching strategy and overseeing the quality and delivery of Priory’s ILM qualification centre.

This is a remote role, although you’ll need to be comfortable travelling across the UK occasionally, including occasional overnight stays.

You will:

  • Partner with leaders and HR colleagues to understand organisational and leadership development needs and turn these into effective development solutions.

  • Use your own coaching expertise to support the quality and development of our internal coaching offer, including providing coaching supervision
  • Oversee Priory’s ILM qualification centre, ensuring our programmes meet quality, compliance and accreditation standards.
  • Use data, feedback and insight to evaluate impact and continually improve our approach.
  • Manage the Leadership Development Specialist and L&OD Coordinator, supporting them to deliver high-quality development activity.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to the wider L&OD strategy across Priory.

What you'll bring to the role

You’ll bring strong experience in leadership development and a strategic approach to L&OD, with the ability to partner with the business, challenge thinking and turn organisational needs into effective development solutions.

You will need:

  • An IQA qualification (or be willing to work towards one), with experience working as an IQA/Lead IQA within an ILM or CMI qualification centre, or experience setting up and managing a qualification centre.
  • Strong knowledge of coaching and mentoring best practice, including experience supporting and developing an internal coaching community.
  • Significant experience developing managers and leaders and designing leadership development programmes.
  • Experience partnering with senior and strategic leaders to identify needs and develop bespoke interventions.
  • Strong data skills, with the ability to evaluate impact and use insight to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at executive level.

It would be great if you also have:

  • A Level 5+ qualification in leadership and management.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • A coaching supervision qualification, or be willing to work towards this
  • Experience working in a health, social care or other regulated environment.
