Job Description

As our highly valued Learning and Experience Advisor based in Brisbane or Melbourne, your role will support the delivery of learning, development and people experience initiatives that help our people grow, stay compliant and thrive throughout their career with Great Southern Bank. Supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Supporting the delivery of capability, leadership and people experience initiatives across the organisation
  • Managing capability administration activities, including compliance learning, onboarding and development programs
  • Acting as a trusted first point of contact for capabilityand people experience enquiries, providing advice, support and guidance to stakeholders
  • Maintaining and administering TalentLab (Learning Management System) to ensure accurate learning records and compliance outcomes
  • Producing regular reporting and insights on learning participation, compliance and development activities
  • Supporting recognition programs, onboarding activities, career pathways and employee development initiatives
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external learning providers to deliver seamless experiences
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working to enhance team effectiveness and employee experience

Working across Capability and Culture, Leadership & People Experience, you'll help deliver initiatives that support onboarding, leadership development, recognition, compliance learning and career growth. You'll combine strong organisational skills with a customer-focused approach, ensuring our people receive timely support and a great experience throughout their employee journey.

You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business, influence continuous improvement and contribute to initiatives that directly support our culture and people strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in learning and development, people and culture, administration or a related support role
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience producing reports, analysing data and maintainingaccurate records
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience using learning management systems, with Cornerstone or TalentLab experience highly regarded
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities
