We are seeking a motivated Learning & Development Specialist who is eager to create impactful training experiences. In this role you will deliver and continuously improve learning programs that build workforce capability and support business priorities. This role partners closely with HR, internal communications, and business leaders to translate strategy into practical, high-impact learning experiences that drive adoption, performance, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Program Development
- Design, develop, and facilitate training programs and capability-building initiatives for internal teams, including new hires to leadership.
- Create and update structured learning solutions such as learning journeys, guides, playbooks, toolkits, and enablement materials to support both learners and people leaders.
- Conduct training needs analyses and align learning solutions to organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
Program Launch, Adoption & Communications
- Lead learning program launches, including learning campaigns, reinforcement strategies, and manager-facing enablement content to drive adoption and sustained behavior change.
- Contribute to learning and HR communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company messaging
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze learning metrics such as participation, completion, and engagement indicators to assess effectiveness and inform improvements.
- Plan and conduct program evaluations, synthesize insights from multiple data sources, and recommend enhancements to maximize impact and value.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR, communications, and business stakeholders on change initiatives, providing learning enablement and support materials as needed.
- Ensure all activities achieve client satisfaction, operational readiness, and overall business impact.
- Research leading practices and emerging trends in learning, leadership development, and organizational development, and identify tools or external partners to support solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in organizing, developing, and leading training events and talent development.
- Experience designing and delivering blended learning solutions, including facilitated sessions, digital learning, and on-the-job enablement.
- Strong ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent communicator with a natural ability to connect with people at all levels within the organization.
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply a structured and logical approach to complex issues. Systematically gathers information, evaluates alternatives, and develops effective solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple learning initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience using learning data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
- This position requires the ability to obtain DOD secret security clearance.
