
The Learning and Development Manager supports the Milestone Learning and Development Department as an individual contributor. Starting with a Learning needs assessment, the Learning and Development Manager will facilitate a process to identify the educational needs of the organization, assist in prioritizing learning offerings and manage the development and/or acquisition of learning content to meet identified need. The Learning and Development Manager will also be responsible for tracking Learning participation in live, online and vendor training, reporting usage and requirements to the appropriate channels to ensure participation compliance with the Learning programs.
Reports to: Associate Director of People Experience
Duties:
Prepare and implement learning programs and paths
Identify organizational and individual development needs through various needs assessment tools and processes
Partner with departmental leaders to on an ongoing basis to identity, update and implement ongoing training as needed
Deploy companywide learning initiatives
Act as a project manager for training development
Manage e-learning platforms
Lead vendor assessment and selection for Learning programs and tools, with the approval of the CPO
Manage Learning vendor deliverables and relationships
May occasionally deliver training modules
Partner with other members of the People Experience Department to create and implement training programs
Track learning participation
Collaborate with SMEs and Operations to develop leadership and career growth paths
Oversee L&D budget and identify and negotiate with vendors
Organize L&D hiring and training
Minimum Requirements:
7+ years of experience in L&D
Experience in project management and budgeting
Outstanding English communication skills required, both verbal and written
Ability to build good relationships with employees, stakeholders and vendors
Knowledge of e-learning platforms. Udemy experience a plus
Significant experience with developing effective learning programs
Prior experience in managing learning for technology roles preferred
