Responsibilities: This person is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving training and development programs that build the skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities of employees across the cooperative. This role partners with operational and functional leaders to ensure training initiatives support safe operations, regulatory compliance, workforce development, and long-term organizational sustainability. The Learning and Development Manager strengthens employee performance and engagement by delivering practical, role-relevant learning solutions that reflect the cooperative’s values, support member service, and prepare employees for future growth within the agricultural industry. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
What You’ll Do
Advise and recommend training courses and topics for continued employee development
Review and propose off-the-shelf course content to be integrated into the LMS.
Review LMS analytics for performance opportunities
Lead Instructor Led Training Sessions
Partner with leaders across agronomy, grain, feed, retail, transportation, and corporate functions to assess training needs.
Translate operational and regulatory requirements into practical, role-based training solutions.
Oversee training delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches.
Partner with leadership to develop career pathways, skill progression models, and development plans for key roles across the cooperative.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, Education, or related field
2 years of training/ education experience (or related work)
Familiarity with Agriculture (preferred)
