What you’ll do

The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination, administration and continuous improvement of learning and competency systems, ensuring that all employees are appropriately trained, competent in their roles, and compliant with internal, regulatory and safety requirements.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain a centralised training and competency register, ensuring all data is current, accurate and auditable.

  • Actively support internal and external audit processes relating to training and competency.

What you’ll bring

To enable your success in the role, the following skills and experience will be required:

  • Demonstrated experience in training coordination, administration or learning and development roles.
  • Experience maintaining training records, registers or learning management systems.
  • Strong data management and system skills, with the ability to manage and report on training information.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple training activities and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of compliance environments (e.g. WHS, rail safety, regulatory or industry requirements).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/LMS platforms (e.g. Employment Hero or similar).

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and experience in safety-critical, industrial or operational environments would be advantageous but not essential.

You’ll live and breathe our core values of Safety, Trust, Achievement and Care and thrive on being part of our team-based culture where your voice is always heard and your contribution matters.
