Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.50 Hourly

Job Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

1. Administrative and Operational Support (Approximately 40% of the role)
- Organize and maintain department materials, supplies, and workspace
- Prepare print materials and assist with packaging for events, trainings, and recognitions
- Support file organization, data entry, and basic administrative tasks
- Help maintain logs, spreadsheets, invoices, and program records
- Contribute to department-wide initiatives by providing general clerical and logistical assistance
2. Event and Program Coordination (Approximately 35% of the role)
- Assist in planning and preparing for workshops, trainings, and internal events
- Help with logistical details such as room assignments, campus maps, and materials distribution
- Provide communication support to participants and presenters regarding event details
- Support internal support services (e.g., First Gen, Life Coaching, Care Fund) with tasks such as certificate preparation, application tracking, or light coordination
3. Marketing and Communications Assistance (Approximately 20% of the role)
- Assist with the creation and formatting of flyers, handouts, and basic promotional materials
- Help manage content for internal communications, social media, and outreach efforts
- Contribute to consistent branding and messaging across department materials
4. Other Duties as Assigned (Approximately 5% of the role)
- Participate in department meetings, trainings, and organization wide functions
- Support additional tasks or special projects based on team needs
- Take initiative to improve systems, processes, or team workflows as appropriate

QualificationsEducation/Training/Experience/License Required:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred. While prior experience in administrative or clerical work is helpful, it is not required—what matters most is a strong sense of organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Candidates should feel comfortable using Google Workspace tools (such as Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Gmail) and be open to learning additional platforms like Canva, Cvent, and Adobe. Clear and professional communication skills in English are essential, along with a dependable and proactive attitude. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and contribute positively to a team.
