In this position, you’ll partner with clients to identify training gaps, design strategic learning solutions, lead high-impact projects, and influence regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 years of applicable work experience
  • Post secondary education that compliments the requirements of the role
  • Ability to support change management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills with the ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and processes
  • Working knowledge of business financials
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, able to take initiative and ensure accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Strong facilitation skills required to support productive, inclusive discussions and clear outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality specialized service, support, and advice
  • Resolve complex issues with sound judgment
  • Partner with clients to translate operational requirements into learning solutions
  • Identify training gaps across business units and develop solutions to fix them
  • Lead special projects requiring strong analytical, research, and leadership skills
  • Develop detailed documentation requiring expert knowledge of specialized processes and procedures
  • Develop and recommend regulatory compliance strategies at the regional or business unit level

Location and other key details:

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of the Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Significant travel to site will be required at times during the projects with the possibility of the role becoming site based in the future
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
