Summary

The Learner Operations Analyst supports operational execution, analysis, enablement, and continuous improvement across the end-to-end learner lifecycle, delivering scalable, efficient, and consistent operations from initial inquiry through enrollment, retention, and graduation.

Reporting to a Learner Operations manager, this role supports the processes, data, systems, reporting, knowledge, and operational capabilities that enable Marketing, Enrollment, Student Success, Partnership, and Learner Experience teams to deliver strong learner and program outcomes.

The Analyst works across assigned programs, partnerships, geographies, or operational capabilities to ensure accurate execution, generate actionable insights, maintain reliable information, and identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and the learner experience.

Depending on assigned portfolio, the Analyst may have primary responsibility for learner data operations, lifecycle reporting and analysis, operational controls, process improvement, knowledge management, operational readiness, partner reporting, technology enablement, or other capabilities supporting Learner Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Learner Operations activities across assigned programs, partnerships, geographies, or operational capabilities, ensuring accurate, timely, consistent, and high-quality execution.
  • Execute and support learner data operations across the learner lifecycle, including the creation, maintenance, validation, transformation, and transfer of information across partner systems, and other platforms.
  • Partner with Learner Operations, Technology, Data & Analytics, and functional teams to support requirements gathering, testing, implementation, adoption, and ongoing improvement of systems, reporting, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and other operational solutions.
  • Support the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational processes, workflows, and controls, identifying opportunities to streamline, standardize, automate, and scale operations.
  • Monitor and analyze learner lifecycle and program performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers and translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support operational readiness for new partnerships, programs, and significant changes, including documentation, data and systems readiness, reporting, testing, training, and transition activities.
  • Support partner-facing reporting, performance materials, presentations, and operational content by coordinating data and developing insights.
  • Perform operational controls, audits, reconciliations, and quality assurance activities to identify and address data quality issues, transmission failures, process exceptions, and other lifecycle data integrity risks.
  • Analyze and synthesize Voice of Learner insights, translating qualitative survey feedback into actionable recommendations that improve acquisition, enrollment, retention, and learner experience outcomes.
  • Develop and support operational, lifecycle, partner, and leadership reporting, collaborating with Data & Analytics and other stakeholders on reporting needs, data validation, enhancements, and analytical capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain program, partner, and operational information and knowledge resources, ensuring content is accurate, current, accessible, and appropriately structured for learner-facing teams, digital experiences, operational systems, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Support additional initiatives and responsibilities aligned to business and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in higher education operations, enrollment management, student services, business operations, analytics, data operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with operational and performance data, identify trends and discrepancies, investigate root causes, and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy, and operational consistency.
  • Experience working with CRM, reporting, workflow, data management, or operational technology platforms. Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and data analysis tools and the ability to organize, analyze, validate, and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, execute, and improve operational processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency, consistency, and scale.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate findings, requirements, processes, and recommendations clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functional and technical teams while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in analytics, process improvement, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and emerging technologies.
