We are currently looking for an experienced Lean Manufacturing Specialist. This role supports Lean initiatives across the organization by implementing Lean tools and methodologies, as well as identifying and optimizing processes based on Lean principles. The position involves work across 2 manufacturing plants (Nawojowa Góra and Pisary).
Key tasks:
• Supporting local implementation of the Lean system
• Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Lean tools (such as 5S, Employee Suggestion System, Shop Floor Management, Standard Work)
• Initiating, leading, and supervising Continuous Improvement projects that support the plant’s operational and strategic goals
• Leading and actively taking part in continuous improvement workshops, collecting and initiating ideas and supporting their implementation
• Preparing data and simple reports on project progress and Lean indicators for management
• Identifying and optimizing production and administrative processes in line with the Lean approach (including VSM – Value Stream Mapping)
• Analysing operational data (including OEE, Costs, Quality)
• Providing hands-on assistance to managers with their Lean initiatives at the team or small-area level
• Assisting in organizing and conducting basic Lean training sessions and workshops, for example, for new employees
• Participating in local Lean community meetings and help share best practices with other teams
• Promoting a culture of Continuous Improvement across the organization.
• Educational Background: higher engineering degree; preferred: Production Engineering, Production Management, and Project Management
• Experience: at least 2 years in a similar position
• Expertise & Certification: practical experience and knowledge of Lean principles and tools. A Lean Yellow Belt or Lean Green Belt certification is a plus. Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology is a plus
• Practical Skills: Support the team in Lean initiatives and participate in optimization projects in both operational and office environments
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, identify new solutions. Ability to work with data
• The ability to notice small but important issues and errors in processes
• Proactivity and independence
• Good communication skills (in Polish, English basic required with willingness to improve) and a proactive attitude
• Understanding and practical application of tools like 5S, Report A3, PDCA cycle, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Employee Suggestion System, Standardization
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and an openness to learning new software for data analysis or project management.
