The opportunity

The primary objectives of the position are to:

  • Lead role in ensuring customer fault calls and inquiries, maintaining communication with customers via phone, SMS messaging and online fault maps and other services are carried out by Officers.
  • Exercise authority as needed over the prioritisation, sequencing and dispatch of all reactive and planned maintenance work across internal crews and contractors.
  • Maintain operational capability within the Works Management Centre by actively participating in dispatch and customer call handling during peak demand periods, critical incidents, staff shortages or as required to ensure service continuity.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and performance management of Dispatch & Monitoring Officers to achieve safety, service and compliance targets.
  • Provide support to the Maintenance Delivery Team in utilising CHW’s works management system and other digital information system/s.
  • Ensure high quality standard of service are delivered to internal and external customers with asset repair and planning requests.
  • Support and assist after-hours service provider to ensure compliance is met.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Tertiary qualification (Degree minimum) in Business or Accounting, and membership with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or CPA Australia.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal communication skills) and prepare and deliver finance information to varied audiences in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial partnering and leading a high performing team in the delivery of quality financial services that achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial analysis including business modelling.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of business focused analysis, strategic advice and support across the organisation, with a focus on identifying and driving business improvements.
  • High level of computer competency utilising a range of business applications.
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
