We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled leading hand to join our team to oversee and lead the day-to-day operations.

About the Role

Your initial responsibilities will include: 

• Completing and monitoring compliance with IMS policies, procedures, forms, and specifications.
• Maintaining daily records, including Daily diaries, and other documentation.
• Planning, resourcing, and delivering work packages efficiently.
• Operating as a multiskilled operator across various civil construction tasks.
• Leading a section of works and managing a small onsite crew with confidence and professionalism.
• Promote and embody Goldsmith values and culture within the team.

To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have: 

• Proven operational experience in civil construction
• Multiskilled operator capability, with hands-on experience in a variety of plant and machinery.
• Leadership skills with experience supervising others and coordinating activities onsite
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with management, team members, and contractors.
• A construction induction white card
• A current driver’s license
• Valid working rights in Australia
