We’re strengthening our Business Analytics teams with a leading Business Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities in this role include:

• Active collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and prioritize use cases based on business impact.
  • Facilitate workshops to align technical solutions with business goals and refine them iteratively with business and tech.
• Acting as a subject matter expert within the team, supporting & mentoring colleagues
  • Act as a go-to expert for advanced analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices for team members and business stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor team members in analytical thinking, solution design, and interpretation of results for business stakeholders
• Owning the end-to-end process of translating business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Lead the full lifecycle from requirement gathering and data exploration to analytics, validation, and deployment into production and use.
  • Ensure traceability and quality by documenting assumptions, decisions, and results, and by monitoring performance after implementation.
• Building and developing advanced analytics solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions (e.g. forecasting, segmentation, optimization, recommendation) to support data-driven decision making
  • Continuously improve and automate existing models and pipelines by leveraging new data sources, methods, and technologies to increase business value.
  • Develop algorithms and analytic methods for dynamic content ranking, up-sell, churn prediction, and personalized player journeys.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Relevant higher education degree
• Experience in gambling and money gaming as a business, as well as B2C customer & product analytics is considered as an advantage.
• Proven experience in data analysis, generating insights, and creating visualizations for business stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and ability to clearly communicate data-driven insights and lead discussions with stakeholders
• Commercial and strategic mindset with a focus on actionable insights and continuous improvement
• Proactive, self-driven approach to creating and presenting insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Practical knowledge of statistical methods and analytics tools, ability to use SQL or Python.
• Knowledge and experience from A/B testing is considered an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English

This is a permanent, full-time position in our Operational Analytics & Insight unit and the position is located in our headquarters (Helsinki, Finland) and we work in hybrid model 3 days in a week on-site.
