“This position is Part Time on Call with an expectation of 7-8 (up to ten) rotations per calendar year. Rotations include two days for travel, two prep days and eight days of training.

V2X is seeking Skilled Leadership-Training-Program (LTP) Coaches/Instructors (C/I) to work under the direction of the Brigade Command Group Senior Coach / Team Lead. Responsibilities include coaching, teaching and mentoring the Military-Decision-Making-Process (MDMP) to Battalion (BN) commanders, their staffs, and relevant enabler units (which includes, but is not limited to: Infantry/Armor, Cavalry/RSTA, Engineer, Fire Support, ADA, MP, CBRN, signal, Civil affairs (CA), Psychological Operations (PYSOP), Cyber-Electronic Warfare (CEW), Unified Actions Partners (UAP), and Combat Sustainment.
The mission of the Leader Training Program (LTP) is to coach BCT leadership, staff, and subordinate Battalion leadership. This position is full-time working for the National Training Center Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions (WTRS) contract at the National Training Center (NTC). The WTRS is located at Fort Irwin, CA in the Mojave Desert approximately forty miles northeast of Barstow, CA. WTRS operations support the NTC mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training and is focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield. If selected, you can expect to travel to Fort Irwin, CA on an as needed basis to support training rotations for approximately 10 days per rotation, up to 10 times per year, with the possibility of supporting no more than four mobile training team LTPs of a shorter duration. Travel expenses reimbursed.
The Leadership Training Program (LTP) Team regularly exercises independent judgment providing oversight, supervision, and training. The LTP Coaches teach, coach, and mentor brigade and battalion commanders and their staffs and lead them through a program of tactical instruction that will prepare them to conduct operations in a large-scale combat scenario as part of BCT Decisive Action.
