Graduate Engineering Leadership Program | Manufacturing Operations | Supply Chain | Rayong, Thailand
Location: Caterpillar (Thailand) Ltd., CRTT-Rayong, Thailand 337/1 Moo 3, T. Nong La Lok, A. Ban Khai, Rayong 21120, Thailand
Work Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
Program Duration: 3-Year Rotational Development Program
As an LTDP participant, you will rotate through multiple functional areas to develop both technical depth and business acumen.
▸ Participate in rotational assignments across manufacturing, supply chain, and operational functions.
▸ Apply engineering principles to solve production, quality, logistics, and operational challenges.
▸ Support manufacturing process optimization and production efficiency initiatives.
▸ Analyze manufacturing performance data and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
▸ Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing tools and operational excellence methodologies.
▸ Support implementation of best practices that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
▸ Build leadership capabilities through project ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
▸ Present recommendations and project outcomes to operational and business leaders.
▸ Develop strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
▸ Gain exposure to strategic decision-making processes within a manufacturing environment.
▸ Participate in mentoring, coaching, and leadership development activities.
▸ Drive process improvement initiatives that create measurable business impact.
▸ Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.
▸ Support manufacturing modernization, automation, and operational excellence projects.
▸ Contribute to a culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and customer success.
Develop expertise in assembly operations, production systems, quality assurance, manufacturing processes, and operational excellence.
Gain experience in fabrication technologies, production planning, equipment optimization, process improvements, and manufacturing efficiency.
Build knowledge in logistics, procurement, planning, inventory management, demand fulfillment, and end-to-end supply chain execution.
Develop expertise in quality management systems, product and process quality, root cause analysis, inspection methods, audit processes, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability initiatives, and employee health programs.
▸ Engineer Bachelor's or Master's degree in (preferred, but not limited to): Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Engineer, Logistics Engineer
▸ Bachelor's degree in Thailand GPA 3.0 - 4.0
▸ Oversea bachelor's or Master's Degree 2.7 - 4.0
▸ Working Experience within 1-2 Years
▸ TOEIC > 550 (would be an advantage)
▸ Good Presentation Skill
▸ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
▸ Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments.
▸ Basic understanding of engineering principles, methods, and applications within a manufacturing environment.
▸ Ability to apply engineering concepts to support operational and process improvements.
▸ Knowledge of manufacturing methods, technologies, and production processes.
▸ Ability to support, monitor, and continuously improve manufacturing operations.
▸ Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

▸ Ability to safely operate and support equipment used in production environments.
▸ Understanding of workplace safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.

▸ Knowledge of core manufacturing and supply chain functions and how they work together to achieve business objectives.

Caterpillar's Leadership & Technical Development Program (LTDP) is a highly selective three-year rotational program designed for ambitious engineering graduates and early-career professionals who aspire to become the next generation of manufacturing and operations leaders. Through structured rotational assignments across Manufacturing Assembly Operations, Manufacturing Fabrication Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), participants gain hands-on experience solving real business challenges while developing technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
This program offers exposure to world-class manufacturing operations, lean manufacturing principles, operational excellence initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration within a global industrial organization. Participants will work alongside experienced leaders, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and build the foundation for future leadership opportunities across Caterpillar's manufacturing network.
