RH is seeking a Woodshop Leader to join our Dmitriy & Co team. This role will lead high-volume frame production for upholstered furniture, ensuring all frames and exposed wood components meet our highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. The Woodshop Lead will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and supporting the continued growth of our manufacturing capabilities. This position is based near our workroom in Downey, CA.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and lead a woodshop team, producing frames to meet production deadlines
• Develop and implement quality control procedures at every stage of the frame production
• Drive production flow and productivity, delivering consistent quality across scaled manufacturing operations
• Lead the training program development for frame production
• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility by interpreting production documentation and shop drawings, implementing improvements as needed
• Implement lean manufacturing methods and/or machinery to optimize efficiency
• Partner with cross-functional departments and business leads to align resources and maintain production schedule
• Collaborate on the implementation of safety guidelines and procedures to ensure personal and team safety
• Leverage technology for production planning and cost management
• Assist in other areas of production operations as needed

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years leading a woodshop, with comprehensive knowledge of fabrication methods
• Experience building and leading scaled frame production
• Strong time management and communication skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
• Work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Uphold a commitment to quality, safety, and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Google Workspace for production tracking and communication
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequently lift and mobilize furniture, materials, and accessories in excess of 50 lbs while adhering to safety guidelines
• Frequently sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods
• Frequently maneuver throughout office spaces, the workroom floor, and loading docks
• Distinguish differences in color, shade, and brightness
