We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following position:

Leader of Sport includes PDHPE Teaching load

The person appointed will have a permanent teaching position in the school and will involve a teaching load.

Co2 point “Leaders of” positions are offered a contract within a set 3-year cycle as co-ordinator. The current 3 year cycle is 2025 - 2027. This position is for 1 year only to align with the current three year cycle.

Term of Appointment: 2027 School Year

Applicants must:

• have a current NSW Working with Children Check
• full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
• compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Teacher Accreditation:

Teachers who are appointed to a leadership position, whether new to the position or applying to be re-appointed, should have begun, or will begin to make a commitment to the requirements of the diocese Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead document, Category C (Category E for positions of Catechesis and School Evangelisation), during this next triennium cycle.

To be eligible to apply for a (Co2) position a teacher would normally be a fulltime permanent teacher classified Step 3 Proficient on the Teacher's Standards Classification.

Each teacher in a leadership position (Co2) will participate in an ongoing performance review in accordance with the Diocesan Policy & Procedures for Performance Review of Coordinators.

• Ability to lead learning and change for improved student outcomes
• Capacity to lead inclusive and responsive practices
• Ability to manage effectively
• a willingness to lead and contribute positively as part of a professional learning community
• Extensive experience in teaching Years 7 to 10 PDHPE
• Updated professional learning pertaining to their subject
• The successful applicant will be able and willing to participate fully in the religious dimension of the College
• Qualifications in a specialised faculty must be addressed in the application
