General Description:
The Leader Development Senior Manager plays a critical role in strengthening organizational capability by continuously developing people managers across the company. This position is responsible for the end-to-end design, planning, delivery, and evaluation of people manager training programs, aligned with the company’s talent strategy, leadership expectations, and business priorities.
In addition to people manager capability building, this role leads enterprise-wide initiatives related to Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Belongings (DEI&B) and cultural development, supporting the creation of an inclusive, high-performance organizational culture. The role works closely with HR(HRBPs, Talent Development & Talent Management), business leaders, and global stakeholders to ensure consistency, relevance, and measurable impact of all development initiatives.
People Manager Training Strategy Planning
Lead the planning and execution of people manager development programs with a long-term perspective, aligned with global talent development strategy, leadership expectations, and organizational priorities. Identify capability gaps through data, feedback, and stakeholder discussions, and translate them into structured learning solutions.
Training Design & Curriculum Development
Design and develop comprehensive training curricula for people managers, covering topics such as leadership fundamentals, mindset, performance management, coaching, feedback, engagement, psychological safety, and inclusive leadership. Select and design appropriate learning formats (workshops, blended learning, experiential learning, digital learning).
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Facilitate and manage training sessions, workshops, and learning interventions for people managers. Coordinate internal and external facilitators as needed, ensuring high-quality delivery and participant engagement.
Follow-up, Application & Effectiveness Measurement
Design and implement follow-up mechanisms to support on-the-job application of learning (e.g., action plans, coaching, peer learning). Measure training effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods, analyze outcomes, and continuously improve programs based on data and feedback.
Promotion of Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Belongings(DEI&B)
Lead and drive company-wide initiatives related to Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Belongings (DEI&B). Plan and implement training programs and initiatives aimed at raising awareness and driving behavioral change across all employees. Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to embed DEI&B principles and practices into daily work, people management, and organizational behaviors
Culture & Organizational Development
In close collaboration with HRBP, lead and support culture-building and organizational development initiatives aimed at embedding the company’s Core Values - Patient First, Driving Excellence, Collaborative Spirit, and Bold Ingenuity - across the organization. Design and implement learning and communication initiatives that translate these Core Values into concrete behaviors and ways of working.
Stakeholders & Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with HR functions, business leaders, and global/regional stakeholders to ensure alignment, relevance, and consistency of people manager development and culture initiatives.
Operational Excellence & Governance
Manage training operations efficiently, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, and compliance with internal policies. Ensure high standards of quality and governance across all training activities.
Qualification Required:
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree or above, medical or related majors preferred
Qualification
8 – 10+ years of experience in talent development, leadership development, or training, with strong experience in end-to-end program design (planning, design, delivery, evaluation).
Experience in people manager or leadership development programs, including facilitation and curriculum design.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage company-wide and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Strong analytical mindset; able to use data and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Trainer certification in Coaching, SLII®, DiSC®, or similar methodologies is preferred.
Experience as a people manager is preferred.
Genuine curiosity about people and human behavior, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and growth.
Computer Skills: Basic skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Experience in hosting webinars/online-training (e.g., Zoom, Teams)
Experience with Power BI/Smartsheet and AI utilization is preferred.
Other Qualifications: Business-level proficiency in English
Travel: Travel required as needed
