We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Lead Warehouse.

This role is a key team player in Distribution leading and training the workers and ensuring the product is prepared, loaded and transported in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading tasks associated with loading, unloading of product onto trailers.
  • Responsible for leading CDL drivers in their daily tasks.
  • Responsible for managing a tractor and trailer fleet, dispatches, maintenance and safety aspects.
  • Responsible for training new CDL driver associates.
  • Responsible for leading CDL drivers at two co-located warehouse facilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assists in creating, establishing and documenting operational procedures and processes.
  • Assists the Supervisor in labor hour management.
  • Assists the Supervisor in the supervision of Igloo, Staffing agency and H2B personnel.
  • Acts as a “Change Agent” for management.
  • Actively, supports ALL Company and Department change initiatives.
  • Leads specialty teams in the distribution department such as Labeling and Order Picking Teams.
  • Enforces procedural rules to include the proper use of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Performs forklift and loading duties.
  • Trains and provides direction to warehouse associates.
  • Supports Distribution Center management in reaching productivity goals.
  • Tracks daily production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ experience/knowledge of Distribution operations. One (1) year of Igloo Distribution experience may substitute for 2 years of external distribution operations experience.
  • One (1) year of experience on Electric Stand-Up Forklift.
  • English language skills: Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
  • Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs consistently for 8 - 12 hours.
  • Work environment: Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months

Standing & Walking
Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.

Postural Requirements
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.

Lifting & Material Handling

  • Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.
  • Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use
Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.

Visual Requirements
Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.

Environmental Conditions

  • Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100–120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.
  • High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.

Additional Job Considerations
These roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours. Technicians may be required to handle heavy molds and materials; use of material handling equipment is provided and encouraged.
