Responsible for the creation and execution of software testing procedures for embedded systems on ASP capital and connected systems, developing automated test scripts, and documenting test results. This role will work closely with the software development team to ensure the quality and reliability of ASP software products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, document, and support high-performance Automation framework for ASP products with a heavy focus on quality and delivery.
- Create, execute, and maintain test scripts and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage for embedded systems.
- Develop software test tools for verification and validation of medical systems.
- Design, recommend, and implement new tests to improve product robustness and quality.
- Analyze system and software-level product requirements to develop the most effective test strategies.
- Create product release documentation, including verification and validation plans and test reports for new software releases.
- Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely feedback on code quality.
- Develop data acquisition systems to automate testing, data capture, and analysis of products.
- Analyze field reports and/or returned products and recommend corrective action for future improvements.
- Use existing procedures to analyze test results, document information, abnormalities, and provide recommendations on potential sources of software issues.
- Interface among multiple departments and teams including Quality and Service, etc.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for efficiency improvements in department processes.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering/science or other relevant technical experience is required.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded and system-level software testing
- Expertise in system-level integration testing projects and sub-systems is required.
- Experience in Software Verification and Validation methodologies with expertise in writing test cases, test plans, and test reports
