Lead Veterinarian – St. Johns, FL
A full-service animal clinic in St. Johns is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to serve as the medical leader of the practice. This role is ideal for a veterinarian interested in guiding clinical teams, maintaining high standards of patient care, and contributing to the overall success of hospital operations while continuing to practice medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical exams, diagnostics, and treatment for companion animals
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
Develop treatment plans and communicate care recommendations with clients
Utilize in-house diagnostic and imaging equipment
Maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
Active or eligible veterinary license in Florida.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
