, Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Lead and manage a team of Firmware, Hardware, and Software Test Engineers, including task prioritization, performance management, and team development
• Act as primary point of leadership and coordination for all validation activities across the three domains
• Own end-to-end validation strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle, from development to release
• Define, align, and ensure test coverage across hardware, firmware, and software layers at component, integration, and system level
• Drive test planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking across all validation disciplines
• Establish and continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes across firmware, hardware, and software testing
• Oversee hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), firmware integration, and software validation activities, ensuring system robustness across interfaces
• Ensure execution of regression testing, release validation, and defect verification across all domains
• Analyze test results, identify risks, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders and senior management
• Manage cross-domain defect tracking and prioritization using Jira, GitLab, and test management systems
• Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery
• Establish and enforce testing standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks across all validation areas
• Mentor and develop team members across hardware, firmware, and software testing, fostering a high-performance and quality-driven culture
• Support escalation handling and critical issue resolution during development and release phases
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems) or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in testing/validation across hardware, firmware, and software domains and Lead experience
• Proven experience as a Lead or in a leadership role managing cross-domain test teams
• Strong understanding of system-level validation, integration testing, and test methodologies
• Experience with test automation and scripting (e.g., Python)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (GitLab), and defect tracking tools (Jira)
• Solid knowledge of hardware-software interaction, embedded systems, and firmware validation
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and manage cross-functional dependencies
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Fluency in English, both in written and spoken.
