The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards is seeking an experienced Lead Twos Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom during this important developmental stage. This role supports children as they transition from toddler learning into more structured early academics and independence.
Responsibilities
Lead the 2-year-old classroom with structure, warmth, and consistency
Implement engaging lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Support language growth, social interaction, and self-help skills
Guide toileting routines and daily classroom transitions
Collaborate with assistant teachers to maintain classroom excellence
Communicate regularly with families about milestones and progress
Maintain compliance with NYC childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required
Minimum 90 credits in Early Childhood Education required
Experience working with 2-year-olds required
Previous lead teaching experience strongly preferred
Must meet NYC childcare licensing requirements
