Lead Twos Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)

Location: The Learning Experience – Oak Creek, WI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour

The Learning Experience – Oak Creek is seeking a confident and energetic Lead Twos Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys helping toddlers develop language, independence, and social skills through hands-on learning and structured routines.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, engaging learning environment

  • Plan and implement play-based lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum

  • Support language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth

  • Maintain daily routines including meals, toileting, transitions, and rest time

  • Encourage independence and positive peer interactions

  • Observe and document developmental progress

  • Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and milestones

  • Support assistant teachers and maintain classroom organization

  • Ensure compliance with Wisconsin childcare licensing standards

Qualifications

  • Experience working with toddlers required

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred

  • Lead Teacher qualified under Wisconsin childcare licensing preferred

  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices


Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
