We’re seeking a Lead Transmission Lines Engineer with extensive expertise in transmission line design and delivery to join our Perth team. You’ll lead technical work on high-voltage infrastructure and renewable projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients to deliver innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

Working closely with key clients, broader Energy business and our multi-disciplinary teams, you will:

• Lead the design and engineering of overhead transmission lines structures (up to 500kV)
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of transmission line standards and construction practices
• Manage risk, quality, and compliance across all phases of transmission projects
• Perform QA reviews for work completed by peers
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers in the team
• Drive innovation and implement strategies for continuous improvement
• Establish and strengthen client relationships

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering preferred, with an understanding of electrical/power engineering
• Significant experience in an engineering consultancy or utility environment
• Advanced skills in PLS-CADD suite including PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER
• Extensive experience in overhead line design and industry practices
• Experience in application of multidisciplinary standards relevant to Transmission Line design
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
