Imagine a future where you shape the growth journey of Trading & Revenue by driving some of our most business‑critical initiatives to deliver on our ambition to becoming

Join us in this role where you’ll lead cross‑functional projects that strengthen how Trading & Revenue works, grows and delivers impact. You’ll take ownership of complex, high‑priority topics, structure the work, create decision‑ready insights and drive progress with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Welcome to Trading & Revenue Development
You’ll be part of Trading & Revenue Development where you, together with your colleagues, will support the Trading & Revenue organisation by strengthening the Trading & Revenue operating model and delivering targeted commercial and analytical projects for key initiatives and decisions. You’ll collaborate closely across Trading & Revenue and with our key stakeholders across Ørsted to ensure priorities, resources and ways of working are clear and effective.

As a team, we work with high integrity, collaborate closely and take ownership to deliver value through clear structure, constructive challenge and practical problem‑solving.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Building new business areas from the ground up: You will lead or support the end-to-end development of new value streams or functions within T&R, from initial problem framing and business plan design through to operationalization
  • Shaping the decisions that matter most: As part of the secretariat to the Executive T&R Committee, you will review, challenge, and help sharpen the decision materials that go before senior leadership: market entries, new commodity trading strategies, PPAs, or complex transactions
  • Translating business performance into executive narrative: You will own and coordinate the regular business reporting cycle across T&R, gathering financial results and KPI inputs from across the organization and working closely with the Head of T&R to frame these into reporting that goes directly to the Group Executive team and the CEO
  • Driving cross-functional initiatives from brief to delivery: You will take on cross functional projects within T&R, bringing structure, stakeholder alignment, and ensuring key milestones are met. This means carrying a project from initial framing through working groups, decisions, and into implementation
  • Solving operational and process problems across the business: Beyond structured workstreams, you will take on targeted, high-impact assignments: redesigning broken processes, improving documentation or finding efficiencies in how cross-functional teams operate
  • Supporting business planning and priority setting: You will help the T&R SLT think clearly about where to focus, supporting business planning cycles, capability roadmaps, and initiative prioritization across a fast-moving and commercially complex organization.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring a strong problem‑solving toolkit from consulting, commercial development, trading/origination, risk management or equivalent experience
  • are confident owning complex workstreams, structuring ambiguity and delivering outcomes through clear plans and disciplined follow‑through
  • communicate with clarity and credibility, and can translate analysis into decision‑ready insights for senior stakeholders
  • build strong stakeholder relationships, and can challenge constructively while maintaining trust and momentum
  • thrive in collaborative environments, act with high integrity and represent the team professionally across diverse interfaces
  • are motivated by working close to the commercial engine, contributing to initiatives that enable Trading & Revenue’s growth ambitions.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
