Lead Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards, New York, NY

Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards is seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Toddlers are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and social skills. You'll create a structured and engaging classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroom
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence and developing self-help skills
• Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
• Maintain positive classroom guidance and consistent routines
• Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
• Build strong relationships with families
• Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers
• Follow applicable New York City childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education required
• Previous professional toddler or early childhood education experience strongly preferred
• Lead classroom experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, energetic, nurturing, and dependable
• Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements
