Lead Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)
Location: The Learning Experience – Owings Mills, MD
Pay: $17–$19 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Owings Mills is seeking a confident and caring Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who enjoys helping toddlers build language skills, independence, and early social development through structured routines and hands-on learning.

Our twos classroom is an exciting stage where children develop communication, curiosity, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
  
  
• Plan and implement activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
  
  
• Support language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth
  
  
• Guide daily routines including meals, toileting, transitions, and rest time
  
  
• Supervise assistant teachers and maintain classroom ratios
  
  
• Communicate regularly with families regarding daily updates and progress
  
  
• Maintain classroom organization and follow Maryland licensing requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher qualification required under Maryland licensing
  
  
• High school diploma or higher required
  
  
• Experience leading a toddler classroom preferred
  
  
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
  
  
• CPR and First Aid preferred
  
  
• Must meet Maryland childcare licensing and background requirements
