We are currently searching for a Lead Test Automation Engineer:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Serve as a senior member of the engineering organization responsible for establishing and promoting quality engineering best practices.
• Define quality standards, testing strategies, and automation frameworks across product teams.
• Drive shift-left testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle and participate in architecture, design, and requirements reviews.
• Mentor QA engineers and developers on testing and quality-first development culture.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks (Functional, API, UI, Integration, Regression, Performance, and Security).
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve coverage and analyze test failures for root-cause resolution.
• Validate complex business workflows, enterprise application functionality, and ensure requirements are testable and traceable.
• Test cloud-native applications running within Microsoft Azure, validating reliability, scalability, resiliency, and fault-tolerance.
• Support testing of AI-powered product capabilities, including validating outputs from Generative AI, LLM integrations, RAG solutions, and AI Chatbots.
• Partner with AI engineers to establish AI evaluation methodologies and support Responsible AI practices.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of software quality assurance experience with 5+ years of hands-on automated testing experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale software products within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Expertise in one or more test automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
• Experience with API testing (REST APIs, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Contract testing).
• Hands-on programming and scripting experience with C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments (Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, SQL, Azure DevOps).
• Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, Prompt engineering, and RAG.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

• ISTQB Advanced Certification or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE).
• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certifications.
• Experience testing AI-enabled business applications, distributed microservices architectures, and containerized applications (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
• Advanced Spanish.
