About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant supporting Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) technology capabilities. This role leads complex, enterprise‑wide initiatives by partnering closely with business and technology teams to deliver strategic, scalable technology solutions that address highly complex business needs.
In This Role, You Will:
• Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact across cross‑functional business and technology teams
• Act as a key participant in delivering strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
• Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter expertise for technology initiatives
• Define and lead detailed research and analysis on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
• Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring a solid understanding of business domains and technology applications, influencing companywide technology solutions
• Lead project or systems documentation, monitor progress, and manage schedules and deliverables
• Collaborate and consult with business and technology partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to complex business challenges
• Ensure clear communication and effective information flow between business stakeholders and technology teams
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience leading enterprise‑level or cross‑line‑of‑business technology initiatives
• Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical solutions
• Experience partnering closely with business, technology, and governance stakeholders
• Familiarity with system design, data analysis, and SDLC methodologies
• Financial services or large regulated enterprise environment experience
