Job Category: ConstructionThis Lead Contents Technician is skilled in the completion of complex contents Pack Outs and cleaning tasks. Assists the project management staff in responsibilities that relate to the execution of warehouse management, pack outs, contents assessment, and structural cleaning and deodorization of both residential and commercial contents. In addition, this Lead Technician may be responsible for leading a team on site locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties include, but are not limited to:
- Property location oversight
- Manages workflow of sub laborers
- Communication with property owners
- Interacting and scheduling of subcontractors
- Participate in warehouse process cleaning.
- Pack, unpacking, moving of contents and furniture. (Must be able to lift 70-75 pounds
Skills Imperative to the Job:
- Good oral and verbal communication
- Competent with basic handheld tools and power tools
- Self starter, great organizational and planning
- Work well with a team of subcontractors/employees
- Able to lead a team
- Other duties may be assigned, including assisting in the Mitigation and Emergency Services department
QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School degree required, but Associates degree (A.A or A.S) or equivalent from two year college or technical school desired; Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database, Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to visit project sites that have incurred catastrophic events from fire, water, and storm damage and could require accessing roofs, which they need to be able to carry a 40’ ladder from their truck and setting it up at the roof line of the associated property.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
